Driving Across Kansas and the Eisenhower Library

I know that I’m an optimist, but I had a wonderful time driving across the empty grasslands of Kansas.

We stayed overnight in Dodge City and left before the tourist traps opened.

Of course we had to stop in Abilene, home of the Eisenhower Presidential Library!

Mamie Eisenhower was one stylish dame!

Next stop… Truman’s library. Just across the border into Missouri!
